Who Is Sara?
I’m the author of Fragments of Her – a debut contemporary women’s fiction novel
Did I just write that out loud?
I’ve always wanted to write a novel, but didn’t think I could sit still long enough….
I’m Sara – nice to meet you. Up until 2024, I was in full-time employment as an Account Director for a Design Agency. That is, until the rug was pulled out from under my feet and I found myself suddenly redundant. Well, I’d always wanted to run my own biz, and now I kind of had no choice.. so I launched my freelance copy & content writing business – KingCopywriter – serving personality-led solo business owners and brands.
In 2018 I wrote a short non-fiction book ‘Your Teenager’s Type 1 Diabetes Diagnosis: One Parent’s Honest Guide to Survival’ (buy it on Amazon)
And that gave me the confidence to write the fiction book I knew I had to write: Fragments of Her Part 1 in the Fragments series.
About Me
Sara writes women’s contemporary fiction and family sagas that explore hidden histories, tangled relationships, self-discovery and identity.
Her debut novel, Fragments of Her, weaves together secrets from the past and the complexities of family bonds. It’s the first in the Fragments series.
When she isn’t writing, Sara lives in Cambridgeshire with her family and a rowdy Australian Shepherd. She runs marathons and bounces around at live gigs for fun.
